Bryce Scott Handley Memorial Fund

The Bryce Scott Handley Memorial Fund was established to help families defray the unexpected funeral and burial costs of their children 18 years of age or younger. Families may receive up to $2,000 towards the cost of funeral burial expenses.

Cara M. Spicer Scholarship Program

This scholarship has been established in the memory of Cara M. Spicer to provide financial support for children of low income families in Northwest Indiana who want to participate in Fine Arts activities and do not have the monetary ability to do so.

Scholarship Amount: $100
Number of Awards: Up to 10
Eligibility:
  • Lives in Lake County, Indiana
  • Is between the ages of five (5) and eighteen (18)
  • Is currently an active participant of the organization seeking the scholarship on his/her behalf
  • Has a demonstrated financial need as documented by The National School Free or Reduced Lunch Program

James F. Van Senus Memorial Fund

The James F. Van Senus Memorial Fund was established to provide financial assistance to widows/widowers or their dependent children under the age of 18 years old. Typical grants may range from $250-$2,000. All applications will be considered, but due to limited financial resources, cannot be guaranteed.

Mary Francis High School Equivalency Diploma Scholarship

This scholarship was established to help individuals in Lake County, Indiana obtain their High School Equivalency certification by providing financial support for the cost of the HSE test. Qualified individuals must first complete an accredited prep course.
